Yoga has been a pillar of Kari's physical and mental health practice for over two decades. Originally she incorporated yoga as a stretching routine to maintain an athletic lifestyle which later became an exploration and fascination with the ‘so much more’ that yoga has to offer. Her classes are playful, exploratory, and designed to provide you with an embodied experience while meeting you where you are at physically.
Kari's original yoga teacher training (YTT 250+) took place in Mysore, India under Yogacharya Barath Shetty – a disciple of B.K.S. Iyengar – in the IndeaYoga style, earning a teaching certificate in 2012. She is also trained in specific body care modalities including; Hip Bliss, Shoulder Recovery, Yoga & the Aging Body, Cardio Yoga Sculpt, Inversions, & Anatomy Trains – yoga for Myofascial release.

Start your Sunday with 60 minutes of body awakening movement designed to increase mobility, develop awareness, improve strength, and expand the breath. For any level of yogi - from beginner to seasoned - Sunday morning early-bird sessions are a great way to get into your body and out of your head.

Stay for an additional 30 minutes of mindful intention based seated practice: meditation, journaling, breathwork, and more. Each week incorporates a variation of mindfulness practices - and the prop list will prompt you as to what you might need.
Prop list for each Sunday is sent 30 minutes before class begins to those who pre-register OR available at sign-up for those who decide to join us and book the class within 30 minutes of class start time.
