Hi! I’m Ellie! I’m a passionate, loving, nurturing, creative, and fun loving kind of gal! I always make time for anyone who needs to talk, no matter how busy I am. My passions that I practice daily are cooking from scratch, singing, dancing, and yoga. All of these passions, except yoga, found me around the age of 4. My mom introduced me to Hatha yoga when I was 11. A year later, she found a cabaret belly dancing class that we could do together. I couldn’t help but immediately fall in love with both yoga and belly dancing. Throughout the decades, I have always been happy to guide people who have shown interest in learning specific asanas or belly dancing moves. In my first 200hr yoga teacher training course, during a 1 on 1 practice teaching session, I noticed my partner was interested in learning how to do a body roll. So I figured out a way to incorporated that into the yoga practice. It’s always fun to go with the flow!
Description
This meditative practice complements dynamic muscular workouts by encouraging muscles to recover quicker. It lowers cortisol levels which helps you lose weight. The poses help to create space in the body, particularly the hips and lower back where the greatest range of motion is lost with age.  This practice supports the development of a more introspective and mindful awareness of one’s physical, energetic, emotional, and mental equilibrium.
This slow-paced style of yoga incorporating principles of traditional Eastern medicine. It features asanas that are held for longer periods of time than in other styles.  This stillness softens the body and allows the postures to stimulate connective tissue, fascia, and ligaments.  It also affects bone density, joint mobility, and the overall health of the internal organs.
