Description

Stress and anxiety adversely affect
• Sleep patterns
• Digestive system
• Energy levels from lethargy to overactivity
• Brain function including decision making and thought processing
The aim of the workshop will be to bring balance and ease back into our bodies and relax our overactive nervous system.
• Breathing practices ,pranayama . This will include slow deep breathing and lengthening of the breath as this sends messages of safety to the brain.
• Yoga asana, A grounding practice to help manage overwhelm and fear, followed by a flow yoga sequence aimed at building resilience and finding joy in movement. We cannot be joyful and fearful at the same time.
• A short mindfulness session that involves observing the thinking mind, the flow of the thoughts as they are, without judgement, By recognising we cannot follow all of them, we can allow ourselves to develop a sense of peace and ease
• A restorative yoga session will complete the event, allowing the body and mind to fully rest.
