Yoga’s sister science Ayurveda views the five elements (earth, water, fire, air and space) as the building blocks of everything in the universe – including your body and mind – and considers their balance to be fundamental to your health and vitality. This series invites you to discover how you can tailor your yoga practice to provoke the qualities of the different elements and better understand how they impact your energy and mental state. Guided by Ayurvedic practitioner Julia Clarke, and inspired by her studies with Shiva Rea, each class will involve creative Prana Vinyasa yoga to move vital energy (Prana) as well as focused breathwork, chanting, mudra and meditation. Take your yoga practice beyond stretching and learn how to facilitate a deeper connection with the world around you. Some yoga experience is required for you to get the most out of these classes.
5x (75 min classes) on Mondays 7:30pm over the course of 5 consecutive weeks.
