Join Shalyn for this Men’s Only Yin and Plunge class and discover the power of yoga and perhaps the missing link in your wellness practice. The practice of Yin will keep you mobile so that you can continue to do all of the things you love like lifting weights, running, hiking, etc. Yin is the companion that everyone needs.

We will begin our class by focusing on community and connection. We will talk about various subjects, perhaps pull cards and engage in meaningful discussions. Everyone will be seen and heard here. Connection off the mat is just as important as your time on your mat; therefore you will have plenty of time to connect with the other men in class through meaningful conversation after class.

After class take a cold plunge! This is optional but highly recommended as an excellent companion to your yin practice.

Yin is about digging deep and reconnecting with yourself. It is about tapping into your feminine energy and allowing yourself to slow down, let go and just be.

In this class we will be seated or laying down on our mats holding poIstures for longer periods of time. This class is a slower paced class that stimulates your parasympathetic nervous system and encourages you to slow down by bringing awareness to your breath and the connection between your mind, body and spirit. This is a great class to quiet your mind and slow down.

Don't let the slower pace of this class fool you though, this class will push you. Yin focuses on stretching the deep connective tissues like ligaments, tendons and fascia rather than the superficial muscle tissue. We will get into the good stuff here!
