Lisa’s journey with the practice of yoga began in 2000 in a Bikram studio in San Francisco.
What began as a physical and mental challenge to just stay in the room for the duration of
class quickly became a deep and healing connection for her body, mind, and spirit, and
eventually became a life’s passion and calling.
Though she has had many influential teachers, she is a dedicated student and follows the
lineage of Para Yoga and Sri Vidya. Her classes strive to provide a space for each person to
explore the effect of yoga in their own way and, while rooted in the methodologies of Para Yoga,
are an amalgamation of all her teachers’ influences. Each class will include pranayama
(breathwork), the exploration and experience of the energetics of asana (postures), mantra,
visualization and intentional focus, and meditation.
Description
This 6-week Gentle Hatha Yoga is a wonderful way to stay connected to your yoga practice during the summer! Classes are a beautiful combination of standing, seated, balance, kneeling & supine (on the back) poses. Modifications will be provided & creativity is encouraged. This is a time to connect to your body, and breathe and move however it calls to you. Please consider having a mat, two blocks and a blanket or two to help support your practice.
Class is live-streamed on YouTube. You do not need to be present to take class - the link you are sent will be live for one week, so if you can take it anytime after the live-stream has started.
Once you pay and register for class a link will be sent to you 30 minutes prior to the live stream.
