Description
This is a workshop-style alignment-based session where we break down postures and dive into the optimal way for you to integrate the Ashtanga sequence into your own body. The class is half theory and half asana practice.
Ashtanga Immersion Course with Rachel - Deepen your practice and knowledge in 3 weeks! Explore anatomy and intuitive alignment and create a self practice to take away on vacation or anywhere you go.
Learn the set sequence of Ashtanga Primary postures and feel more confident in your inversions, strength, flexibility, and controlled breathing.
This Ashtanga Immersion Course focuses on applied anatomy in asana and intuitive alignment appropriate for each unique individual body. We dive deeper into the practice of the Ashtanga Primary Series (one of the most dynamic and demanding physical asana practices in the lineage of Sri K. Pattabhi Jois) as well as extended practice of pranayama (breathing techniques).
