Hi, I’m Frederik, a hand balancing practitioner with a deep passion for movement and body control. My journey started with 5–6 years of calisthenics, where I built a strong foundation in strength and discipline, before discovering hand balancing and becoming fully immersed in the practice over the past few years. Since then, I’ve dedicated myself to refining my craft—teaching myself skills like the press to handstand, training consistently, and continuing to learn through workshops, retreats, and coaching from experienced handstand teachers. Through this journey, I’ve developed skills such as the one-arm handstand and the stalder press. For me, hand balancing is more than just a physical practice—it’s a lifestyle that cultivates patience, focus, and awareness. I love sharing this process with others and helping people explore what their bodies are capable of.

Description

This hand balance class is open to all levels, with a special welcome to complete beginners. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to refine your practice, you’ll be guided step by step in a supportive and encouraging environment.

We begin with a focused warm-up to prepare the wrists, shoulders, and core, building the strength and awareness needed for safe and steady practice. From there, we move into drills and technique work, exploring alignment, control, and the foundations of balance. You’ll learn how to approach handstands in a way that feels accessible, progressive, and even a little playful.

Beyond the physical, hand balancing invites a deeper connection with yourself. It’s a practice of patience, presence, and learning to find stability within movement, something that naturally carries over into everyday life.

Come as you are, and discover what balance can feel like, both on and off your hands.
