Ella believes that yoga is a journey that goes far beyond the movements on the mat. In her classes, she creates a balance between breath and movement, helping students connect more deeply with their body, mind, and inner calm. She completed her 200-hour training in Ashtanga and Hatha Yoga in India, and brings grounding energy and a calm, steady presence to her teaching. Ella is currently part of the VAYA Yoga Studio teaching team, where she shares her Hatha and Ashtanga-inspired practice while she’s in the area.

Description

Ashtanga Foundations is a breath-led class based on the traditional Ashtanga Primary Series.
This method follows a set sequence of postures, allowing you to return to the same shapes again and again—developing strength, focus, and a deep connection to your breath over time.

In this class, the series is taught with clear guidance and offered at a steady pace.
To make the practice accessible to all levels, supportive variations and options inspired by Hatha Yoga are provided throughout.
Whether you’re completely new to Ashtanga or revisiting it in a softer way, you’ll have the space to move with intention and build confidence in each pose.

This class honors the structure and discipline of Ashtanga, while allowing enough room to adapt the practice to your body and your day.
It’s ideal for anyone who enjoys routine, clarity, and mindful repetition as a path to strength, stability, and inner focus.

Open to all levels – beginners welcome.


BOOKINGS and CLASS REGISTRATION
• Online Booking: You can book a class online up to 30 minutes before it starts.
• Last-Minute Booking: If it’s later than 30 minutes, contact VAYA Yoga directly.
• Arrival Time: Yoga room doors open 15 minutes before class. Please arrive between 15 and 5 minutes before to get settled. If you still need to pay (Cash, MBway, Revolut), please arrive at least 30-15 minutes before class to secure your spot.

Unpaid Reservations
If you reserved a spot but haven’t paid online, your spot is not guaranteed. To secure your place, please pay at least 15 minutes before class, either online or in person at the studio. If the class is fully booked, unpaid spots may be given to someone else.

No Refunds or Transfers
All purchases of class passes (Drop-In, 5-Class Pass, 10-Class Pass) and memberships are final, non-transferable, and non-refundable, even in cases of non-usage or expiration.

Class Cancellations
• Cancel at least 1 hour before class to receive a class credit, depending on your pass type. Your pass activation can be adjusted for another day.
