I came to yoga for the physical—but I stayed for the transformation.
After years of bodybuilding, I was searching for something to ease the tightness and chronic pain in my body. What began as a way to build strength and flexibility became a lifelong path of discipline, devotion, and deep inner work.
Asana is powerful. It builds resilience, sharpens focus, and teaches the mind to stay steady under pressure. These aren’t just qualities that support meditation—they are the very foundation of it. The physical practice prepares us for stillness. It lays the groundwork for inner awareness, deep states of meditation, and ultimately, samadhi.
My teachings honor the full depth of yoga—from the physical to the subtle. I blend challenging, intentional movement with breath awareness, energetic awareness, and yogic philosophy. Outside the studio, I’m immersed in daily study and practice, focusing on pranayama, meditation, and internal cultivation. I’m currently studying Nei Gong with Damo Mitchell of the Internal Arts Academy and Kriya Yoga through the Self-Realization Fellowship, founded by Paramahansa Yogananda.
My formal training is in Ashtanga, Power Yoga, and Rocket Yoga, and I’ve had the privilege of learning from teachers who deeply understand both the physical body and the eight-limbed path. Their wisdom continues to shape my own practice and teaching, and I’m forever grateful for their guidance. I also hold a certification as a Chopra Health™ Ayurveda Teacher, trained by Dr. Deepak Chopra and his faculty, and weave Ayurvedic wisdom into how I live, move, and teach.
At the heart of it all, I teach because yoga continues to change my life—and I believe it can change yours, too. Whether you’re here to build strength or seek stillness, you’ll find that the deeper you go, the more the practice becomes not just something you do—but who you are.

Description
Power is a dynamic, full-body practice designed to build strength, mobility, and energy through intelligent, ever-changing movement. Rather than slowing down to stretch, this class uses active, breath-led flow to create heat, enhance concentration, increase blood flow, and improve strength and mobility from the inside out.
Through varied sequences and intentional transitions, we move the body in all planes of motion—strengthening muscles, hydrating the fascia, and improving joint health while keeping the brain engaged. Because the sequence changes from class to class, we continue building new neural pathways, supporting long-term growth, adaptability, and injury prevention.
This practice isn’t about achieving perfect shapes or extreme flexibility. It’s about creating openness—physically and energetically—so prana can flow more freely through the body. Expect to sweat, focus, and feel strong, awake, and clear. Come ready to move with intention and leave feeling energized in both body and mind.

Description
Strength + Skills is a calisthenics-focused workout class designed to build functional strength, mobility, and body awareness for daily life and for the fun “party tricks” you see in yoga classes—like inversions, arm balances, backbends, and tricky transitions. All you need is your body! Sometimes we use resistance bands, yoga blocks, sliders, kettlebells, and the wall to support and challenge movement, and some classes include HIIT or circuit-style training formats. No matter the structure, expect a full-body workout emphasizing upper-body push and pull strength, core stability, and leg strength while improving balance, coordination, proprioception, and control.
Classes are welcoming and accessible for all levels, with options to regress or progress every exercise. Come curious and leave feeling strong, capable, and excited about what’s possible!

Daniel Boles
Hello, I’m Daniel. I love being in nature, connecting with community, all things fitness, good books, long meditations and enjoying time alone. I care deeply and passionately about the evolution of consciousness and find my purpose by serving and supporting others in their own personal growth, exploration and healing.
I grew up near Winston Salem, in a devoted christian household. I attended a Bible college near Chicago, IL and later moved to Thailand for mission work. In 2013 I moved back to NC, and left full time ministry work, then began helping at a small family business. Then in 2017 while struggling emotionally, physically, and spiritually through a dark time, I began to practice yoga consistently each day. As my focus shifted from outward to inward, life began to transform. Yoga became an incredibly powerful tool that was able to help reconnect my body, soul and mind. In 2021 I decided to deepen my practice and knowledge by completing yoga teaching training and becoming a 200 RYT. Since then I continue to practice daily, and am grateful for the opportunity to teach and guide others though practice.

Description
Rocket Yoga is rooted in the practice of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga and is considered to be the original power yoga. There are three main sequences in the system and they all focus on building strength and mobility in the body, while also cultivating concentration and mental focus so that the student can enter states of spiritual awareness faster—that's why Bob Weir from the Grateful Dead named it the Rocket. "It's called the Rocket because it gets you there faster!"
The practices intertwine foundational asanas with arm balancing and fun transitions, creating a beautiful balance of traditional Ashtanga with the dynamic benefits and fun vibe of Power yoga. One of the key concepts of Rocket is repetition and only when you keep repeating, you can do anything (even hard things)!
This class is for anybody who likes to bend the rules a bit, be challenged without so much rigidity, enhance mobility, and connect deeper to themselves. Come see how Rocket can get you there faster!
This style of yoga was developed by the late Larry Schultz, a former Ashtanga student of Pattabhi Jois and the Grateful Dead's private yoga teacher. Larry's vision was to make Ashtanga yoga more accessible to the western practitioner.

Description
Prana and Qi ("chee") both refer to your body’s natural life force—your energy. In this class, we learn how to feel it, build it, and work with it through the practice of Daoist Nei Gong.
Expect slow, intentional movements that release tension, improve circulation, and gently awaken the body’s energy. From there, we move into stillness—using Daoist meditation techniques to turn inward and develop deeper awareness, focus, and spiritual connection.
☯️ Morning sessions are more Yang—focused on standing practices that build energy, clarity, and focus for the day ahead.
☯️ Evening sessions are more Yin—with more time spent seated, cultivating stillness, and enjoying longer meditation.
Over time, this practice can support greater energy, mental clarity, emotional balance, and a deeper meditation practice. No experience needed—just come as you are, open to exploring something new!

Description
Yogastha Sadhana is a vinyasa based class that targets a multi-limbed approach to the daily practice of yoga. This mindful practice begins by building pranayama (regulating the breath) as the foundation and warming the body in a set sequence of sun salutations and standing postures, before moving through a series of seated postures. Each class ends with a closing sequence including backbends and inversions before settling into seated contemplation and rest. Rooted in the eight-limbed path, Yogastha Sadhana classes emphasize alignment, breath awareness, and thoughtful transitions, cultivating strength, flexibility and balance. Suitable for all levels, it offers a holistic approach to yoga—empowering the body, refining the breath, sharpening focus, and opening the mind to clarity and presence.

Emily Aspell
Emily Aspell discovered yoga during a challenging time in her life, and it quickly became a transformative part of her healing journey. While overcoming struggles with her mental health, the practice of yoga helped her find peace and happiness through its powerful mind-body connection. It gave her the ability to stay present and show up for all aspects of life.
In 2019, Emily completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training at Sutra Studio in Lowell, Massachusetts. Teaching yoga allows her to create a welcoming space where people can connect with their bodies and minds through creative movement. She finds it incredibly rewarding to help others discover moments of joy through their practice. Emily’s classes are fun, flowing, and powerful, leaving students feeling grounded, present, and energized.
Emily is passionate about continuing to learn and explore how breathwork, meditation, and mindfulness can bring balance and awareness into everyday life. Alongside teaching yoga, she works as a climbing instructor with Appalachian Climbing School. She loves teaching others—it’s where she finds her truest sense of connection and purpose.
When she’s not teaching or climbing, Emily enjoys hiking, traveling, spending time with family and friends, and being outdoors as much as possible.
Description
power + release blends the strength and heat of power yoga with deep stretching and recovery for a complete, science-informed practice. The first half of class is a dynamic, breath-driven flow designed to actively improve mobility by building heat, increasing circulation, and creating fascial glide through varied, intelligent movement.
This active approach prepares the body to stretch more effectively. As the body becomes warm and receptive, we transition into deeper holds, mobility work, and often self-myofascial release techniques to access the connective tissues more safely and efficiently. This combination supports joint health, improves range of motion, and helps release long-held tension—physically and energetically.
power + release is ideal for anyone who wants the best of both worlds: intelligent, empowering movement paired with deep, intentional release. You’ll leave feeling strong, open, and balanced—energized without feeling depleted, and supported in both strength and recovery.

Description
LSD is a fascia-focused recovery and mobility class designed to release tension, improve range of motion, and support nervous system balance. This practice combines intelligent, dynamic warm-ups with slow, sustained stretches and self-myofascial release techniques using tools like tennis balls, lacrosse balls, or cork balls to gently access deeper layers of tissue, disperse adhesions, and restore healthy movement.
This combination of active warm-up, targeted release, and intentional stretching is what gives the practice its uniquely therapeutic and HIGHly effective feel.
LSD is not passive yin yoga. Stretch durations are intentional and research-informed, emphasizing gentle to moderate sensation rather than discomfort or force. Sequencing follows the body’s fascial lines to support whole-body balance, integration, and full-body ease.
This practice is ideal for anyone seeking deep recovery, improved mobility, and a calmer nervous system — without forcing or pain. It is especially great for athletes, power yogis, and weightlifters.
