30 Minute Guided Meditation for Beginners | Calm the Mind, Focus the Breath & Energy Free
Allie LabateFebruary 25 2026 • Duration: 31 Minutes
This 30-minute guided meditation is designed to help calm the mind, build concentration, and introduce meditation in its truest sense—rooted in yoga philosophy.
At the beginning of this session, I briefly explain:• What yoga actually means• Why the true goal of yoga is the stilling of the fluctuations of the mind• How meditation (dhyana) is cultivated through focused attention (dharana)
From there, we move into a simple, beginner-friendly guided meditation focused on breath, awareness, and subtle energy.
During the practice, you’ll be guided to:• Bring awareness to the lower abdomen• Imagine white light or energy filling the belly on the inhale• Visualize that energy traveling up the spine to the crown of the head on the exhale• Gently train concentration to support a calm, steady mind
