Meditation for Equanimity | Vipassana inspired Meditation

This beginner-friendly 30 minute meditation is simple. We practice resting our attention on sensation flowing in the body, rather than on observing thoughts.
Thoughts will come and go like clouds moving through a blue sky--we don't get caught up in them. We simply come back to the body. Back to the breath. Observing ourselves with detached awareness. I also offer another technique to layer over the breath if the mind is too loud today.
Inspired by Vipassana Meditation, my hope is that you walk away with a little more equanimity in mind. The word 'equanimity' originates from the Latin aequanimitās, which combines aequus (meaning "level" or "equal") and animus (meaning "mind" or "soul"). Literally translated, it means having an "even mind". People with equanimity observe events and thoughts without immediately reacting out of fear, anger, or panic.
