I have lived in Mandurah for the past 20 years, but spent the last five living and working in the Pilbara, then did some travelling overseas for a few months before coming "home." I started my Pilates journey with some physio-led clinical Pilates at Pilbara Therapy in Karratha, and was hooked! Once I started my training, I soon learned I loved mat Pilates just as much as the reformer. This old yogi was really surprised by how much she enjoyed it! My favourite move would have to be the feet in straps series. There is no other way to get such a great stretch in your legs. My least favourite is anything I find difficult, which makes me want to practice it the most until I can feel comfortable in my body doing it.

Description

Unwind your body and build deep strength in our Stretch & Strengthen class. This Tuesday night session combines mat-based Pilates with stretching to improve posture, build core stability, and develop more mobility. All levels are welcome, with options for everyone. We provide mats and props, but feel free to bring your own.
