In a slow flow, poses are linked together with mindful breath, and transitions between poses are unhurried. The emphasis is on fluidity, but with time for deeper exploration of each posture in comparison to a traditional vinyasa class. There is also a strong emphasis on mindfulness and body awareness, inviting you to be present in the moment, tapping into your parasympathetic system as you reach a meditative state. The challenge of this class will be to combine slow, deep breathing as we transition smoothly and with body awareness through poses.

As we arrive at the Spring Equinox, we find ourselves at a quiet turning point—where winter softens and the first signs of spring begin to emerge.

Over the past months, we’ve been working with hot stones to kindle warmth, tending embers through the stillness of winter. More recently, we gathered what remained, storing that warmth deep within.

Now, we begin to use it.
