Nicola Skinner
Nicola has practised as a student at Yoga Meditation Healing since 2016 and completed her 200-teacher training with Seasonal Yoga in 2023. Nicola also undertook 50-hours Yin Yoga training with Paula at Yoga Meditation Healing in 2024 and brings the functional approach to all her teaching. She also completed 50-hours Pregnancy Yoga teacher training with Alice Gray Yoga which focused on adapted flows and embodied practice. In Nicola's classes you will find a slow, powerful practice with an emphasis on breath and use of props to enable greater flexion and extension. Always a student, you will also see Nicola on the mat in classes at Yoga Meditation Healing and she attends classes and workshops at other studios to extend her learning. Everything she learns, she brings back to her own teaching. As a full time working mother of three, she understands the value of taking time for yourself to stretch and strengthen your body and calm your mind. This is the aim for every class she teaches.

Description

End your weekend with a slow, soothing yoga practice designed to calm the mind and release tension from the body. This gentle Yin Yoga class focuses on long, supported stretches that target the deeper connective tissues, helping to improve flexibility while encouraging deep relaxation.

Postures are held for several minutes with the support of props, allowing the body to soften and the nervous system to settle. The pace is slow and mindful, making it suitable for beginners as well as experienced yogis looking to unwind.

Expect a peaceful atmosphere, guided breathing, and plenty of time to relax, reset, and prepare for the week ahead.

Perfect for anyone seeking stress relief, better sleep, and a quiet moment of stillness before Monday begins.
