Hi, I'm Sarah - I am so glad you are here reading this. It means you are interested in practicing yoga or deepening your experience with it. Yoga is a very personal journey for each of us, and I'm honoured to be a part of yours.
A bit about me: I was a lover of the asanas (poses) before anything else and practiced vinyasa and bikrim only. But over the years, I learned that yoga is much more than the poses, it's a way of living and treating yourself and others with kindness. It is through yoga that I have learned to love myself (bold statement, but true!). And it is this nurturing empowerment I get from yoga that I want to share with the world!
I have hyper-mobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, therefore my classes are carefully planned with injury prevention in mind and I am obsessed with helping each of you feel comfortable in your own body in each pose. e my classes are carefully planned with injury prevention in mind and I am obsessed with helping each of you feel comfortable in your own body in each pose. Therefore I oftentimes will perform safe, hands-on physical adjustments where needed and accepted. I am thorough and clear with my cues, and I always offer variation. You will find just the right amount of challenge, and I promise you will leave feeling accomplished and empowered! I teach in the styles of vinyasa, bikrim, yin and nidra.
I can't wait to meet you on your yoga journey!
Description
Imagine stepping into a warm, softly lit space where the gentle glow of candles welcomes you in. The world outside begins to fade as you unroll your mat, wrap yourself in cosiness and let your body soften.
This is Yin… a practice of stillness, surrender and deep rest. Each long, supported posture is an invitation to melt into the moment, to breathe a little slower and to drift into a place of serenity. The candlelight will hold you in its golden glow as you release tension, quiet the mind and settle into peaceful presence.
You’ll leave feeling lighter, softer and restored. As though you’ve wrapped yourself in a cocoon of calm.
