Workshop: The Inner Autumn-Luteal Phase/Wise Woman Emerging

September 21, 2025 • 2:30 pm - 5:00 pm
Cara Oloughlin

Description

The autumn equinox, marking the transition from summer to autumn, is often associated with themes of balance, reflection, and release, aligning with the natural cycle of life and also resonating with the premenstrual or luteal phase of a woman's menstrual cycle. This time of year encourages slowing down, introspection, and letting go of what no longer serves, mirroring the way trees shed their leaves.

Ayurvedic Dosha: Vata-Pitta balancing
Themes: Discernment, inner work, preparation.
* Focus: Slowing down, emotional regulation, boundaries
* Yoga: Grounded flow, hip openers, Yin elements.
* Pranayama: Anulom Vilom, deep belly breathing
* Ayurveda Tips: Warm, cooked foods; oil massage; avoid overstimulation
* Reflection: What needs completion before I rest?
🔹 Ideal for: PMS phase, perimenopause, emotionally intense phases, and burnout recovery.
