All yogis are welcome for this class! This class is perfect for the beginning student, someone recovering from an injury, someone who needs to move more slowly, someone who has not practiced in a while AND yogis who have practiced for a while and would welcome a gentle sequence to focus on foundational shapes. The pace of the class is slow to give you a good understanding of the postures (asanas). The emphasis is on basic poses and breathing correctly which will help establish solid foundational skills. Plan to bring a mat (if you have one!), a towel and a water bottle. There are a few mats available to borrow if you forget or don't have one. Props including blocks and straps will be available for your use.
Be sure to read your booking confirmation email for details about which door to use to enter the building. The building door code will be given in that email. In good weather, plan to walk up the ramp facing Clay Street and enter through the door which will either be unlocked or propped open.

Join Laura for a 60 minute yoga class on the amphitheater stage at the Glenwood Lake Park. Each class will be suitable for most levels and physical abilities including first time yogis! Please bring a water bottle, towel and yoga mat if you have one. There will be a limited number of mats available to borrow.
There will be 10 classes this summer. Best pricing is to grab an 8 class pass for $100.
You can park in the main lot for the park OR drive past the lake and up the hill and park at the top above the amphitheater. There is even limited parking right behind the stage if you follow the concrete drive.

Join Laura for a 45 minute gentle yoga flow on the rooftop at Cups Cafe. This class is perfect for both beginners and more experienced yogis. Bring a yoga mat, towel and water bottle. There will be a few mats to borrow if you need one. Blocks and straps for class will be provided.

Either before or after class, be sure to grab your favorite beverage and/or pastry from Cups Cafe and thank them for letting us practice yoga on the rooftop this summer!

Parking/On Arrival Instructions: Feel free to park alongside 30th or Willit Street's designated parking stalls. Please enter using the Cups Cafe 30th Street entrance.

NOTE: The door to the left of the main Cups Cafe entrance will take you directly up the stairs to the rooftop. If you need to use the elevator for accessibility, enter through the Cafe entrance and a staff member can guide you to the elevator.
