Description
Connect with the energy of the full moon and find balance and relaxation in your mind + body.
In traditional Chinese medicine, the full moon is often seen as a time of heightened energy and activity, as well as a time when the body's systems are in a state of balance and harmony. It is believed that the full moon can have a powerful effect to influence the flow of qi, or life force energy, in the body.
Treat yourself to this Full Moon Yin Yoga + Yoga Nidra practice, designed to help you tap into the energy of the full moon and find balance, relaxation, and a deeper connection with your spiritual self.
During this two-hour bliss session, we will start with a nourishing Full Moon Yin Yoga practice, where we will hold postures for extended periods of time to allow the muscles to relax and the connective tissues to open. This practice is perfect for cultivating a sense of calm and balance, and for releasing any tension or stress that you may be carrying.
Following our Full Moon Yin Yoga practice, we will transition into a deeply restorative Yoga Nidra session. Yoga Nidra, also known as "yogic sleep," is a state of consciousness between wakefulness and sleep, in which the body is completely relaxed and the mind is calm and focused. This practice is said to be especially effective for reducing stress and anxiety, and for promoting deep rest and relaxation. It is also a powerful tool for deepening your spiritual connection and awareness.
No prior yoga experience is necessary. Please bring a cushion for behind your head if you wish + anything else to make your nest comfortable. Mats, bolsters, blocks and blankets are provided and please feel free to bring your own.
Spaces are limited + booking essential. We need this one.
