This Hatha yoga (Iyengar yoga practice) course in Delft is for anyone who, under my guidance, wants to keep their muscles flexible, their body strong and active. This course is suitable for both beginners and more advanced yoga practitioners. You don't have to be limber or flexible. Under my guidance in class, you will build more self-confidence in your own abilities.
You learn to be more aware of your body, mind and breathing. During the exercises/asanas (standing, sitting, bending forward, stretching sideways or bending backwards) much attention is paid to alignment. I ask you to align your body (feet, arms, legs, bones and muscles) in a certain way. The purpose of this is to help you as a practitioner examine what you are doing and thus achieve a 'holistic' effort in your exercises/asanas. With this you will develop greater self-awareness.
