Description
This International Women’s Day, we gather in a circle of movement, presence, and connection. A somatic yoga session where we move, listen to the body, and create space to soften and restore. Through mindful movement and breath, we invite the nervous system to settle and the body to return to its natural rhythm.
This gathering honours the energy of Kali and Durga, the divine feminine that destroys fear and awakens strength. Kali represents the force that helps us release what no longer serves us — fears, old patterns, the parts of ourselves we have outgrown. Durga represents courage, protection, and the quiet strength that lives inside every woman.
After the practice, we will share a small poem exchange.
You are welcome to bring a poem that inspires you, comforts you, or reflects the spirit of womanhood and sisterhood. You may also simply listen and receive.
This morning is an invitation to pause, to connect, and to celebrate the quiet strength of being together.
