With almost 20 years of personal practice and over 500 hours of yoga teacher trainings, our yoga teacher brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, and a calm, welcoming approach to every class.
Having studied a variety of yoga styles, she has completed specialist Yin Yoga Teacher Training with Yoga Medicine®, bringing a well-rounded and considered approach to every class.
Her yoga journey has taken her around the world. She has taught extensively in Thailand, leading classes in Bangkok and at the Shiva Yoga Ashram in Phetchaburi, where she mentored trainee teachers on a 200-hour yoga teacher training programme.
Having recently returned to Leigh-on-Sea after several years living in Thailand, she is delighted to share her experience with the local community. Her classes offer a welcoming space to build strength, improve mobility, and cultivate greater balance through mindful movement and breath.
Description
A traditional Hatha Yoga class with a slower, more mindful pace, giving you time to explore and understand the foundations of each posture.
Expect a balanced practice that builds strength, flexibility, stability and body awareness, while working with the breath and learning how to move with intention. This a great option if you prefer a more traditional, grounded approach to yoga.
Don’t be fooled by the slower pace, the practice can still be physically challenging, with plenty of opportunities to build strength and deepen your awareness.
Perfect for beginners and experienced yogis alike, especially if you want to learn the fundamentals, refine your alignment and develop a stronger foundation for your yoga practice.
