With almost 20 years of personal practice and over 500 hours of yoga teacher trainings, our yoga teacher brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, and a calm, welcoming approach to every class. Having studied a variety of yoga styles, she has completed specialist Yin Yoga Teacher Training with Yoga Medicine®, bringing a well-rounded and considered approach to every class. Her yoga journey has taken her around the world. She has taught extensively in Thailand, leading classes in Bangkok and at the Shiva Yoga Ashram in Phetchaburi, where she mentored trainee teachers on a 200-hour yoga teacher training programme. Having recently returned to Leigh-on-Sea after several years living in Thailand, she is delighted to share her experience with the local community. Her classes offer a welcoming space to build strength, improve mobility, and cultivate greater balance through mindful movement and breath.

Description

A practice designed to bring strength, mobility and balance back into the body.
We’ll work through a sequence of postures at a steady pace, giving you time to explore alignment, breath and how each posture feels in your body. Expect work for the shoulders, spine, hips and major muscle groups, with opportunities to build strength, range of movement and control.
The sequence develops over time, with familiar postures returning each week alongside variations and more challenging options.
