Sabina Bhandari
Sabina is a Hatha and Tantra Yoga Teacher.
She's passionate about reviving the unbroken oral traditions of India for spiritual liberation and making them accessible and relevant. Her holistic approach blends movement, breath, energetic seals + locks and sound vibration to work with the subtle body; the psycho-energetic centres (chakras) and channels (nadis).
Description
To kickstart the 9 nights of goddess worship on Wednesday with the new moon ~ Chaitra Navratri ~ we will be honouring the dark feminine in the form of Kali Maa on the darkest night ~ no moon 🌑 with a chakra ⭕ ~ a ritual using tantric elements.
Please bring an offering to Kali Maa, she likes red hibiscus flowers, fruit, sweets, lentils and rice.
if you can't handle something, imagine offering it to her. If there is some part of you that feels unloveable, give it to her. Kali Maa will drink the pain for you. She wants nothing but for you to discover your wisdom and your power

Join Sabina for Classical Tantra and Gong Bath, working with asana, pranayama and visualisation as well as sound, to enhance our inward connection.
Classical Tantra refers to the practices founded in the peak period of the Tantrik movement (800-1100 CE). These sessions, with Sabina Bhandari are designed to give you an experiential orientation to the vast system that is Classical Tantra, exploring movement, visualisation and the energetics of the body through one of the most ancient lineages of raja yoga.
Each month will be themed, giving you the opportunity to explore practices in consecutive sessions, so that you will begin to be able to weave your Tantric teachings into your daily yoga practice.
Sabina in joining Yoga in the Stars alternate Tuesday evenings sharing classical tantra as well as a gong bath for savasana, as part of our series Yoga and Sound.
