Ellen is an experienced yoga teacher whose mission is simple: offer classes, workshops and retreats that leave students feeling better and more in tune with themselves. Ellen has been teaching yoga since 2007 and holds an E-RYT 200 and YACEP designations with Yoga Alliance. Ellen completed her 200-hour Hatha & Power Yoga teacher training at Mountaingoat Yoga, and has continued her learning with specialized yoga and fitness training in anatomy, class design, functional strength training, older adult fitness, meditation, trauma-informed yoga, philosophy and ethics, yin yoga and restorative yoga, to name a few. She is nearing completion of her 500-hour level yoga teacher training with PranaShanti Yoga. Ellen offers hatha, flow, power, yin, meditation, yoga nidra, and restorative yoga classes. Her teaching style is inspired by over 20 years of practice and training, an appreciation of the mind-body connection and the reward of serving her students. Ellen’s classes are well structured and creative. She offers clear instruction and many options so that your practice is truly your own.

This Restorative Yoga class will be a uniquely relaxing and grounding experience!

Anne is a highly experienced Restorative Yoga teacher and trainer. She will guide you in and out of three to four restorative poses, each held for long periods of time. These poses will employ blankets, bolsters, and blocks so that you are fully supported for deep rest. Hot Basalt stones will be gently placed on various parts of the body, including, hands, feet, stomach, spine and chest to further reduce tension from the body. Aromatherapy will also be incorporated into the practice. Essential oils will be spritzed into the air or near you to help deepen the experience. The weight and warmth of the stones combined with aromatherapy and restorative postures will leave you feeling rested, grounded and relaxed.

Cost is $60+tax / $55+tax for students with recurring memberships.
