Description

Yoga nidra (often called “yogic sleep”) is a guided meditation technique that relaxes the body and nervous system while maintaining a soft thread of awareness. This quiets the busy thinking mind and allows the body to experience deep rest. It is deeply restorative and accessible to all levels.

This 60-minute candlelit event marks the last day before spring equinox and is designed to align with the quiet, inward energy of the new moon. We will begin with a few minutes of gentle, grounding movement to help release surface tension in the body, followed by a guided yoga nidra meditation lying down in a fully supported position. (Props will be provided, but feel free to bring anything that will help you get extra cozy.)
