Ingrid Boas
Ingrid qualified as a BWY teacher in 2017 and completed her Yoga Alliance Yin Yoga teaching certification in 2022 . Ingrid's Yin classes focus on bringing stillness into the body, breath and mind - achieved by moving into deeper postures for longer periods of time.
Description
Mixed Ability. Join Ingrid and Ezgi for a restful evening. The session will start with Yin Yoga followed by a calming Yoga Nidra (Yogic Sleep).
Yin Yoga is a slow-paced style in which the poses are held for a longer period (three to five minutes sometimes longer). This practice targets the connective tissues rather than the muscles. The asanas are more passive holds, with little muscular engagement.
Yoga Nidra is a guided practice of deep relaxation, where you rest comfortably while being led through a systematic journey of awareness. It helps release tension, calm the nervous system, and promote a state between wakefulness and sleep. Regular practice can support better sleep, stress relief, and overall well-being.
If you are interested stay for a cuppa to connect with teachers and the community after the session.
