Neda Marin
I met Neda many years ago at the yoga studio where, during different years, we each completed our Yoga Teacher Training. We stayed connected through the local yoga and wellbeing community and when I ran a wellbeing retreat in Sedona she joined us as a participant. The time at the retreat allowed me an opportunity to get to know Neda even more and I remember thinking even then what a great fit she would be as a part of the Yoga with Lora Team. Fast forward many years and here we are!
Neda has been practicing and teaching yoga for almost a decade and specializes in Vinyasa, Yin, Chakra and has recently completed her Kundalini Yoga Certification allowing her to deepen her knowledge and practice of the holistic benefits of energy flow, breath work and mantra.
She has taught Yoga and Mindfulness in Windsor Essex elementary schools, to Bachelor of Education students at the University of Windsor and at various local studios and gyms.
Neda teaches yoga because she believes in its power to transform and heal the body, mind and spirit. She is excited for her journey as a Yoga with Lora teacher and the opportunity to continue sharing the wonderful benefits of the practice with others.

* What is Kundalini Yoga? *
Compared with other forms of yoga, Kundalini yoga is a more spiritual practice. Also called the 'yoga of awareness' Kundalini yoga includes chanting, singing, movements, and breathing in specific patterns, all working together to target specific pressure points in the brain and body. When done in a particular sequence for a specific period of time, practitioners may experience greater creative potential, break free from karma and tap into their true life’s purpose. This is done by gently activating and balancing Kundalini energy.
Kundalini Yoga may also help the practitioner work through: anxiety, depression, insomnia, self-esteem, and may help improve: cognitive function, and lung function and capacity.
* Is Kundalini Yoga safe? *
Although kundalini yoga can move the practitioner through certain physical, emotional and mental blockages, which at times may feel uncomfortable, the practices within themselves are safe when done in a gentle and supported way.
Please take caution if you experience breathing issues, joint issues or are pregnant.
Moreover, Kundalini Yoga works by raising one's vibrational frequency through sound and physical postures and it is advised to refrain from recreational altering substances when partaking in these practices as they may be a contraindication to the feelings of natural elation and excitement one might experience. As a beginner it is important to follow the prescribed order of the sequence to allow the physical, mental and emotional bodies to "come down" or "calm down" naturally after potentially raising one's frequency/vibration in a new way.
