Description
Candle-lit Yin Yoga
Friday 8th of March 6.15-7.45 pm(note time change)
It’s end of the week, meet us for an 1 ½ hour of candle-lit Yin-bliss. Let go of your stress and worries from the week and be able to fully enjoy your weekend afterwards
Yin Yoga is style of yoga where poses are held for an extended period of time usually 3-10 minutes. In what can be called “Yang Yoga” (any type of Hatha, Vinyasa etc) we try to warm the body up to stretch and strengthen the muscles. In Yin Yoga we do the opposite, by staying in the poses for several minutes the body and muscles remain cool. This gives us an opportunity to stretch and strengthen the ligaments and joints. It works deeply on the connective tissues (the fascia) which can give a strong sensation of length and stretch in the body.
Unlike in restorative yoga, there can sometimes be a sense of discomfort (however, we never want pain in yoga) and that’s where we get an excellent opportunity to train our mind in how to relax. This training turns our awareness inwards and quite quickly we feel empowered by being in control over how we react, feel and breathe.
-Stimulates the meridians (energy channels) which brings balance to the organs in the body
-Improves flexibility and joint mobility
-Calms and balances the mind and body
-Reduces stress and anxiety
-Works deeply on the connective tissues (fascia, tendons and ligaments)Can prepare the practitioner for meditation practice
Give yourself a chance to fully enjoy your weekends without the residue stress from the week!

Payment occurs at the time of booking and is non-refundable.
