Description
6-week course
Starting the 12th of February
Running every Thursday at 5 pm
£70
Our nervous systems are constantly responding to our environment — stress, screens, pace, noise, responsibility. When that system stays in a heightened state for too long, the body can feel tense, restless, fatigued, or disconnected.
This Nervous System Reset is a six-week course designed to support nervous system regulation through slow, intentional movement, breathwork, and rest. The practices are designed with physiology and neuroscience, helping the body shift out of chronic “doing” mode and into a state where it can recover, restore, and adapt.
Each class combines gentle, fluid movement with specific breathing patterns and sensory practices that stimulate the parasympathetic nervous system — the branch responsible for rest, digestion, and repair. Over time, this supports greater emotional steadiness, improved sleep, and a more resilient response to everyday stress.
Rather than pushing or stretching the body, we work with rhythm, repetition, and simplicity. This creates a sense of safety and familiarity, which is essential for nervous system change.
Across the six weeks, you can expect:
- slow, joint-friendly movement that reduces muscular tension
- breath practices designed to lengthen the exhale and calm the stress response
- somatic awareness to help you notice and respond to early signs of overload
- gentle nervous system education, so you understand what’s happening in your body
- longer periods of rest and guided relaxation to support integration
Each session follows a consistent, predictable structure — an important factor in nervous system regulation — helping the body learn that it is safe to soften and settle.
This is not about switching off or escaping life.
It’s about building the capacity to meet life with more steadiness and ease.
This course is for you if:
- you feel stressed, overwhelmed, or mentally busy
- you experience tension, tightness, or restlessness in your body
- you feel tired but struggle to fully relax and/or sleep
- you want to understand your nervous system and care for it practically
- you’re looking for gentle, supportive movement rather than intense exercise
This course may not be for you if:
- you’re seeking a strong fitness or workout-style class
- you prefer fast-paced or highly dynamic movement
- you’re looking for dramatic physical challenge or intensity
No previous experience is required. All practices are adaptable, and you’re encouraged to move at a pace that feels supportive for you.

Description
Vinyasa Flow Yoga is a dynamic and physically more challenging style of yoga that emphasises on fluid movement and breath control. In a typical Vinyasa Flow class, we will move through a sequence of movements in a continuous, flowing way, synchronised to the breath.
Moving faster and having to work a little bit harder with the body can both be really fun and a great way to calm the mind down. Vinyasa yoga can offer a great respite or act as a balancing tonic if we are living a life where there is a lot of focus on thinking and less on physical movement.
Each class will be different and the focus can lie on different body parts, such as hips or shoulders, or a particular movement, like circles or backbends. The focus can also be to keep a mindset of fluidity or stability. But in each class we will move through a variety of poses, including sun salutations, standing and balancing poses aiming to get the whole body involved and energised.
For this class bring your own mat and yoga block (if you don't have your own, email me and I will bring it for you)
Suitable for all levels, apart from complete beginners
Great for improving strength & flexibility
