Start your Sunday with movement, nature and sea air. These weekly outdoor yoga sessions take place at Tide Mills beach, between Seaford and Newhaven (BN25 2RT), on a quiet spot of flat ground just back from the pebbles—where we will be more comfortable and balanced.

The class is open to all levels and will gently stretch and awaken the body. We’ll focus on releasing tension in the larger muscles, improve circulation, and supporting the nervous system through breath-led movement.

Being outdoors is its own kind of medicine. The space, natural light, fresh air, and contact with the ground all help regulate the body and mind. Beyond the well-known benefits of stretching and movement, practising yoga outdoors helps calm the nervous system, supports joint mobility, and invites us to reconnect with the rhythms of nature—and offers a rare moment to gaze out at the horizon—so good for our screen-tired eyes.

After class, there’s the option to swim. The sea in the UK is always refreshing but oh so invigorating, whether you dip your toes or go all in. The benefits of cold water are well known, but include energy lifting, improving circulation, and building resilience—simply being in the sea offers a sense of reset.

We end the morning together with tea and light breakfast snacks, enjoying the view and a sense of ease from time well spent.
