Description
The pace of the class is deliberately slow and gentle, allowing you to move with ease and to focus on your breath and body sensations. We stay close to the ground, with none or few standing poses. All poses can be changed and adapted if you, for example, need to stay off your hands or your knees.
By slowing down we get a chance to really feel what is going on and focus on alignment which allows for a safer and more comfortable practice. It helps improve our body awareness which has benefits extending far into our normal life off the yoga mat as well.
These classes are perfect for anyone who wants to move in a gentle way and work on their flexibility. Whether you feel limited by your body or are active somewhere else and want more holistic movement aimed at recovery and wellbeing.
For this class bring your own mat and yoga block (if you don't have your own, email me and I will bring it for you)
Suitable for all levels & age groups – especially beginners & anyone with anxiety or physical obstacles
Great for improving mobility and joint health

Description
Restorative yoga is all about slowing down, letting go, and allowing the body and mind to deeply rest. Unlike more active styles of yoga, this practice uses long-held, supported poses to invite stillness and encourage gentle release.
With the help of props like bolsters, blankets, blocks, and straps, we create shapes that feel safe and nurturing—allowing tension to melt away over time. Each pose is held for several minutes to give the nervous system a chance to reset and the body space to truly restore.
I, Ylva, may guide you through calming breathwork or simple meditations throughout the class, supporting your journey inward. The pace is slow, the atmosphere peaceful, and the focus is on presence, softness, and deep rest.
Restorative yoga classes are suitable for all levels of experience, including beginners, as the poses are gentle and accessible. They can be especially helpful for those experiencing stress, anxiety, or physical discomfort, as they offer a space for relaxation and restoration.
For this class bring your mat, a blanket and a pillow or bolster (if you don't have your own, email me and I will bring it for you).

Description
Vinyasa Flow Yoga is a dynamic and physically more challenging style of yoga that emphasises on fluid movement and breath control. In a typical Vinyasa Flow class, we will move through a sequence of movements in a continuous, flowing way, synchronised to the breath.
Moving faster and having to work a little bit harder with the body can both be really fun and a great way to calm the mind down. Vinyasa yoga can offer a great respite or act as a balancing tonic if we are living a life where there is a lot of focus on thinking and less on physical movement.
Each class will be different and the focus can lie on different body parts, such as hips or shoulders, or a particular movement, like circles or backbends. The focus can also be to keep a mindset of fluidity or stability. But in each class we will move through a variety of poses, including sun salutations, standing and balancing poses aiming to get the whole body involved and energised.
For this class bring your own mat and yoga block (if you don't have your own, email me and I will bring it for you)
Suitable for all levels, apart from complete beginners
Great for improving strength & flexibility

Description
We’ll meet at Tide Mills car park (BN25 2RT) around 10 minutes before class, then wander over together to our beautiful spot just off the pebbly beach — to a spot of flat ground where we can stretch, move, and breathe with ease.
This class is all about waking up the body and feeling alive. We’ll stretch out the bigger muscle groups, get our circulation going, and prepare ourselves for the sea. If it’s chilly, we’ll gently build heat; if it’s warmer, we’ll slow it down and soak it all in. It’s always adaptable to how you’re feeling.
We move with the rhythm of the breath, surrounded by the sounds of waves and seabirds, supported by the earth beneath us. It’s grounding, energising, and deeply calming all at once.
Then — the swim. Cold, invigorating and completely optional. There’s nothing quite like going for a cold dip in the morning — it clears the mind, wakes up every cell, and connects you to something much bigger. We always leave feeling fresh, tingly, and utterly present.
These mornings are joyful, wholesome, and deeply good for us — body, mind, and spirit. A reminder of how good it feels to be human, outside, and alive.
Price: £7
Payment is required at time of booking to secure your place.
More info about where we will meet, what to bring etc will be sent out once you book.

Description
This gentle, nurturing class helps you connect with your body, breath, and mind. We begin with a short centering meditation before moving through a slow & gentle sequence of accessible postures focused on releasing tension from modern life—mobilising the spine, opening the chest, and increasing circulation through the hips and legs.
The second half of the class is a guided meditation where you are invited to lie down (or sit if you prefer). Moving the body allows the mind to be more still, making this format great even for those who have a busy mind and struggle to switch off. We will be using simple techniques like breath awareness or body scanning. Expect to leave feeling grounded, relaxed, and more connected to yourself.
For this class bring your own mat and yoga block (if you don't have your own, email me and I will bring it for you) and blanket

Description
A 4-Week Mobility Course
Thursdays, 5 PM | Starting 26th of March
£50
This course will be with similar intentions as the other mobility courses we've done, but different movement, so it will be really valuable to everyone, whether you've done a previous one or not.
Being able to move well is one of the greatest predictors of how well we age and how much we can enjoy life (and the thing I am more passionate about than anything else). When our joints move freely and our bodies feel strong and capable, everyday life becomes easier — walking, running, getting up from the floor, carrying things, and simply feeling comfortable in our bodies.
But modern life doesn’t always support this. Many of us repeat the same movement patterns each day or spend long periods sitting, which can lead to stiffness, imbalance, and aches over time.
This four-week course is an opportunity to slow down and explore movement more deeply. In regular classes there isn’t always time to go into the “why” behind what we do, but over these sessions we’ll have space to build both understanding and physical capacity.
Each week we’ll combine mobility work, strength, and simple insights about how the body moves and adapts. Over the course we’ll gradually build skills that help you move with more ease, stability, and confidence.
During the course we’ll explore:
- recognising imbalances in joint movement
- strengthening the legs to support the spine and back
- how daily habits influence the way we move
- simple ways to move better in everyday life
This course blends ideas from anatomy, physiology, neuroscience, yoga, and movement training to look at the body as a connected whole — how the feet influence the hips, how the eyes influence the spine, and how everything works together.
This course is not suitable for complete beginners.
To get the most out of it you should be comfortable getting up and down from the floor.
This course is ideal for:
- Regular yoga practitioners who want to deepen their practice
- People who move in other ways (running, Pilates, strength training, CrossFit etc.)
- Anyone interested in mobility, healthy ageing, and understanding their body better
If you enjoy learning about movement while improving how your body feels and functions, this course is for you.

Description
A slow, nourishing way to begin the weekend. This class is all about moving gently, waking the body up with care, and creating space to breathe and just be.
We’ll begin lying down, easing out the stiffness of sleep with soft stretches, gentle twists, and fluid movements that invite openness into the spine, hips, and shoulders. As the body begins to feel more awake, we’ll move through a few simple standing flows — all adaptable and at your pace.
The class will be focused on breath, presence, and how the body feels moment to moment. A class to help you feel grounded, centred, and quietly energised — ready for whatever the rest of the weekend holds.
For this class bring your own mat and yoga block (if you don't have your own, email me and I will bring it for you)
Suitable for absolutely everyone

Description
Start your Sunday with movement, nature and sea air. These weekly outdoor yoga sessions take place at Tide Mills beach, between Seaford and Newhaven (BN25 2RT), on a quiet spot of flat ground just back from the pebbles—where we will be more comfortable and balanced.
The class is open to all levels and will gently stretch and awaken the body. We’ll focus on releasing tension in the larger muscles, improve circulation, and supporting the nervous system through breath-led movement.
Being outdoors is its own kind of medicine. The space, natural light, fresh air, and contact with the ground all help regulate the body and mind. Beyond the well-known benefits of stretching and movement, practising yoga outdoors helps calm the nervous system, supports joint mobility, and invites us to reconnect with the rhythms of nature—and offers a rare moment to gaze out at the horizon—so good for our screen-tired eyes.
After class, there’s the option to swim. The sea in the UK is always refreshing but oh so invigorating, whether you dip your toes or go all in. The benefits of cold water are well known, but include energy lifting, improving circulation, and building resilience—simply being in the sea offers a sense of reset.
We end the morning together with tea and light breakfast snacks, enjoying the view and a sense of ease from time well spent.
Price: £10
Payment is required at the time of booking to secure your place.
Full details about where to meet and what to bring will be sent after booking.
Please read carefully:
Payment is required at the time of booking and is binding.
By booking you agree to the cancellation policy.
