Highly experienced teacher in somatic movement, Yoga, dance and expression. Tanya encourages you to "work with what you've got", will guide you to feel your way into safe movement & postures, finding expansion, space and hopefully a little more physical freedom in your body, and peace in your heart and mind. You will be challenged, definitely, you'll also get to rest, recover, laugh and smile. Her embodied approach will leave you to feeling great about yourself, and discover your fabulousflow! With an incredible experiential understanding of biomechanics, she uses her skill as a movement reader, to bring out the best in students, giving them examples to imagine, corrections that work and the confidence to fall or fly!

Description

Your practice is now well on its way and you are ready to expand your knowledge and practice of the variations of the 12 key postures. The course includes a systematic approach to practicing the headstand. Pranayama (breathing techniques) and practice of stilling the mind.

This is the natural follow-up to Hatha Yoga 2 - Improve. You will now be feeling and seeing the benefits of the consistent practice. This course focuses on the warriors, and building a small flow of postures, deepening & linking with the breath. This course is also ideal for those getting back into the practice after a lapse or having practiced with another teacher.

Continue developing strength, control, balance and flexibility, breathing exercises for increasing your energy and focus and relaxation techniques for body, mind and spirit. Reducing physical & mental tensions, gain improved sleep and increasing energy levels

Part 3 of a 12 week course 29 Nov - 20 Dec
(This is a stand-alone course, completion of part 1 or 2 isn't compulsory)
Book in advance online £45 (per cycle)

ALLOW 70 minutes for the session. Arrive 5 minutes early to rest & prepare yourself for the class. Allow rest at the end to allow the body to absorb the changes. Helpful to BRING a yoga mat if you have one, this is not essential, the professional flooring is fully sprung & non-slip, suited to your yoga practice. Bring a clean hand towel for your practice.

WEAR clean, comfortable, exercise attire, that allows for stretching, bending, support & movement. No shoes are worn for the practice of yoga. Bottled water is allowed in the studio. Changing facilities available
