Tanya Greig
Highly experienced teacher in somatic movement, Yoga, dance and expression. Tanya encourages you to "work with what you've got", will guide you to feel your way into safe movement & postures, finding expansion, space and hopefully a little more physical freedom in your body, and peace in your heart and mind.
You will be challenged, definitely, you'll also get to rest, recover, laugh and smile. Her embodied approach will leave you to feeling great about yourself, and discover your fabulousflow!
With an incredible experiential understanding of biomechanics, she uses her skill as a movement reader, to bring out the best in students, giving them examples to imagine, corrections that work and the confidence to fall or fly!
Description
Awaken your spine, find a moment of peace, calm. If it's a kick-asana class you're after... this is not it (try saturday morning or Tues night). If you want to feel your way into your body, or more of a "moving meditation", begin to lengthen, strengthen, align, humm and flow, then this might be the one for you...
I can't promise (but I will try not to be funny), and let your body and mind deepen into the practice.
** A fairly straight-forward flowing class, that will listen to the weather, the environment, changes and general needs that arrive each week :-)
** A great "general ability" class, EXCELLENT if you have already completed any of the Hatha Yoga Basics Courses, and you want to try a class that flows from posture to posture
