Carol is an E-RYT 200 yoga teacher with six years of teaching experience in the Kitchener-Waterloo area. Her teaching is grounded in the belief that yoga is an opportunity to listen, explore, and reconnect with the body rather than strive for perfection. Her classes blend mindful movement, mobility, functional strength, myofascial release, breathwork, and restorative practices. She encourages students to move with curiosity and intention, creating space to explore what feels good, release tension, and develop greater strength, ease, and body awareness. Whether moving through a purposeful flow or settling into stillness, Carol’s approach is welcoming, accessible, and rooted in the idea that there is no single “right” way to practice. Her hope is that students leave class feeling a little more connected, grounded, and at home in their bodies.

Description

A mindful, grounding yoga practice that blends myofascial release (MFR), strength, mobility, and slow, intentional movement. Using simple props, we’ll begin by exploring areas of tension and restriction before moving into a purposeful yoga sequence designed to build strength, improve mobility, and create greater ease in the body.

Expect a combination of MFR, yoga postures, functional strength work, mobility exercises, and restorative stretches. This class invites you to slow down, move with intention, and explore the balance between strength, stability, and release—leaving you feeling grounded, energized, and more connected to your body.
