10 spots 👉 BOOK AT LEAST 2hrs BEFORE START TIME or CLASS is CANCELED if no one books.
This style of yoga targets the connective tissue ( fascia, ligaments, tendons, bones). Mostly made up of passive, static poses on the mat which are held from 1-5 minutes as you allow gravity to do all the work for you after you find your edge. The longer holds are perfect to meditate and slow your mind down then moving into a seamless savasana, a final relaxation pose. Some of the benefits of Yin are improved range of motion, calms the mind and body, and reduces stress and anxiety. It is important to be aware of your own limitations and modify/skip movements or poses as needed during the class.
**Do workouts or strenuous activities before NOT after Yin. I recommend a wait period time of at least 2-3 hours after Yin if you are planning on other activities. This wait period time may vary from person to person.
**Wait 12 -24 hours before practicing Yin again.
