Description
This style of yoga by passes the muscles to target the connective tissue ( fascia, ligaments, tendons, bones). Mostly made up of passive poses mainly on the floor which are held from 1-5 minutes as you allow gravity to do all the work for you. The longer holds are perfect to meditate and slow your mind down. Each class is ends with shavasana, a relaxation pose. Some of the benefits of Yin are improved range of motion, calms the mind and body, and reduces stress and anxiety. 45-60mins
