😊 “HAPPY CHI - SMILE ON” 😊 -Sifu Kim
Description
What is qigong?
Pronounced “chi gong,” involves gentle exercises to optimize energy within the body, mind, and spirit, with the goal of improving and maintaining health and well-being. Qigong has both psychological and physical components and involves the regulation of the mind, breath, and body’s movement for better posture and balance.
Along with practicing healing qigong movements, you will experience tapping certain areas of the body for optimum health and breathing techniques using sounds that represent certain organs for better functioning. Qigong movements are gentle and smooth, aimed for deep relaxation. When we can move and relax at the same time this is when the mind and body can truly heal.
The end of class is dedicated to a seated/lying meditation. With Sifu Kim’s healing teachings you will leave this class feeling joyful and at ease. 😊 “Happy Chi” 😊

Description
Hatha Yoga for Alignment includes an array of postures & breathing techniques to bring balance and connectedness between body and mind, focusing on alignment cues and fostering deeper awareness within postures.
Hatha can be a starting point to developing a yoga practice and self inquiry by being introduced to yoga philosophy, yoga postures, breathwork, meditation, and relaxation.
Hatha Yoga is practiced at a slower pace applying more static postures that are sequenced to align, balance and strengthen the body, to focus the mind and to promote spaciousness and flexibility.
Classes can shift though different sequences including moving the body in all directions; standing, seated and floor poses, side bends, forward and back bends, twists, inversions & restorative postures. A variety of props may be used during this class, including the wall.

Born and raised in Navan, Jade has always been active. She danced competitively for most of her childhood. When she became a university student in communications, she had to let go of dance and signed up for her first hot yoga class with her sister. She soon realized that in order to do great things she would have to take care of the only body she will ever have. Jade completed her Level 1 yoga teacher training in Kelowna, B-C in July 2018. Her yoga mat is a place of evolution, acceptance, healing and learning.
Description
Join us for a rejuvenating Yin Yang yoga class that harmoniously balances movement and stillness. Description
What is Tai Chi?
Tai chi is a gentle, low-impact form of exercise in which practitioners perform a series of deliberate, flowing movements, with slow deep breaths.
What makes the practice of Tai Chi such a unique healing art form? Tai Chi resonates on multiple levels: physically, psychologically, socially, philosophically and on a spiritual level. It is this multilevel combination that has been shown to improve complex chronic diseases that involve many systems throughout the body including the nervous, respiratory, endocrine, and immune systems which all interact with the cardiovascular system affecting how well the heart functions. Tai Chi encourages a gentle pre-natal breathing technique to help achieve longevity. Practicing tai chi also encourages the flow of chi along the meridians (invisible pathways in the body) unblocking any stuck or stagnant chi within the chakras and organs. With Sifu Kim’s insightful teachings, you will leave the class, feeling a sense of peace and harmony within.

Description
Restorative yoga is a slow and grounding practice and is also a quiet practice with plenty of space for silence and meditation.
It is designed to gradually open the body while prompting the Parasympathetic Nervous System to come online and initiate a healing response, and it can also calm the mind, release muscle tension and reduce stress and anxiety. In addition to healing, restorative yoga helps with injury prevention.
Restorative yoga practice complements exercise routines as well. In this class, we transition in and out of three to five poses total. Restorative yoga provides us with extra support using the wall, chairs, bolsters, blankets, blocks, and straps.
Guided relaxation is integrated in this class, holding everyone in a safe space of deep seeded nourishment, peacefulness and wellbeing.
NOTE: Props are provided within the Studio. If you have your own props you would like to use during class, such as eye covers or any other, you are welcome to bring them along.
