A workshop style yoga class on the Vague Nerve and how it affects the stress response. Research is showing that good 'vagal tone' can dramatically improve our ability to handle stressors, it increases our resilience. Slow yoga is especially important in improving the vagal tone, because it helps us listen to our bodies (practice interoception). Class starts about about 7:50 - there are a few minutes of talking about the nervous system, and vagus nerve to start.(2/25/22)
