My name is Andrea.
Ever since I can remember, I have been drawn to questions that lead to a deeper understanding of myself. This interest stems from a desire to understand my place in the world, not from the frameworks imposed on me by others or society, but from my own inner perspective.
For years, I approached this quest in an analytical and rational way, until I came into contact with yoga. Yoga opened up a completely new approach to getting to know myself, and I found that incredibly inspiring.
For me, yoga brings life to life. I see asana yoga as a way to explore our own home – our body – and learn to listen to what it tells us. I see breathing exercises and pranayama as the gateway to our nervous system and understanding our emotions and feelings. And I see meditation as a moment to really ‘come home’, to get to know yourself from the inside out, instead of the other way around. I also bring this approach to my classes. In this way, there is space for each person to choose what resonates the most at that moment when they step onto the mat.

This class is a gentle vinyasa flow, where movement is used as a way to connect to the body and the breath leads the way to bring more intention and presence to our minds. This is a slow-paced class that combines dynamic and static poses. The dynamic poses are used to open up the body, release tension, and create a deep connection of breath to movement. They aim at increasing flexibility in a gentle, but powerful way. The static poses are more an invitation to find stillness by feeling the sensations that arise in the body. They allow to turn the attention more inwards and create this deeper cultivation of awareness. No experience with yoga, breathwork, or meditation is required, it is accessible to all levels.

Deze meditaties zijn geen trucjes om rustiger te worden, het zijn diepe reizen naar binnen.
Ik begeleid je om uit je hoofd te komen en te landen in je lichaam.
Om contact te maken met je ziel, je energieveld, je innerlijke weten.

Die ervaring bracht me diep in contact met overgave, de kracht van verbinding en de enorme waarde van een positieve instelling. In het Atelier geef ik wekelijks yogalessen en samen met Josie verzorg ik de Volle Maan Specials. Je bent welkom bij Deep Yin of Meditative Hatha - beide lessen zijn geschikt voor beginners én gevorderden, en worden gegeven in het Nederlands of Engels. Ik stem de les af op wie er aanwezig is en voel intuïtief aan wat er op dat moment nodig is. De lessen nodigen je uit om te vertragen, te ontspannen en de intimiteit met jezelf te verdiepen. Begin your day by slowing down. This gentle yet profound Yin Yoga class invites you to soften, release, and fully surrender into each posture. By staying longer in the poses, your connective tissues are given space to open and renew. You’ll stimulate the body’s energy channels (meridians), enhance mobility, and learn to rest in stillness - even when discomfort arises.
We close the session with a nourishing final relaxation (Savasana), allowing body and mind to deeply integrate the practice. A deeply calming experience that leaves you feeling spacious, grounded, and serene.

I’m a certified all round outdoor sports- kitesurf- yoga & mindfulness instructor.
Experienced as a surf camp manager, surf skater & snowboarder.
Besides that, I am energetic, optimistic, I love to move, create and discover, especially outdoors!
I like to be helpful, inspiring and enthusiastic about passing on my experiences to others.
