Yoga 101
Friday, March 29 • 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM
Tara Scoggins
Tara is a Harlingen, Texas native. With a background in gymnastics and cheerleading, she naturally gravitated towards yoga, and the freedom she found through the practice kept her coming back. Tara discovered the subtle alchemy of breathwork, meditation, and movement as a way to calm her mind and body. This internal practice allowed her to tune into herself and find the solution and spark she had searched for. As a Yoga Teacher, her goal is to share the gift of yoga and the empowerment and growth it fosters. She strives to create a space where students feel safe, supported, and heard. Tara believes that by showing up on our mats, we learn more about ourselves through the medicine of breath, meditation, and asana. No matter where you start, every BODY can practice yoga, and with dedication and consistency, the transformation is truly incredible. Tara is completing her 200hr Yoga Teacher Training – Yoga Alliance Certification through the RGV Yoga School – Yoga Studio of Corpus Christi and will graduate in September 2023. In her free time, she performs live singing gigs around town.
