Join us this month for the "strawberry" full moon taking place Saturday, June 3rd which also happens to be our wonderful yoga teacher, Amy's, Birthday!
This Full Moon is about communication, attitude, and sense of adventure. Something has been building inside of us, and now is the time when the energy of the cosmos fairly demands that we let it out.
With this full moon ceremony, it'll be all about self-expression! Amy will guide you through a sequence that focuses on the Vishuddha (throat) Chakra. The Vishuddha Chakra's energetic function is to help us find authentic self-expression. (We might even do-little bit of dancing too.) : )
Karen will end class with a guided sound bowl and gong meditation.
Social hour to follow where we will be making spirit dolls to capture and embody oneself. These dolls will be made with intention and symbolize and represent you! Bring items from home that you would like to put into your doll, whether that be pieces of fabric, crystals, jewelry, and charms. These pieces can be meaningful to you in some way. Examples, part of a childhood blanket or your child's blanket, old family heirlooms, charms or rocks collected on travels, anything that resonates with you as this will be a representation of you and your spirit! We will provide some materials to have on hand as well as materials to create the base of your doll unless you have something specific you bring from home to create the base.
