Description
Our Full Flow Yoga Takes its inspiration and core from the Ashtanga Yoga tradition (Pattabhis Jois, Founder). This style relies more on synchronized breathing with each movement to produce beautiful, flowing patterns of motion and energy. Full Flow techniques tend to be more vigorous than Slow Flow, and we generally recommend that students are capable of enduring a higher rate of physical activity in this class. White both Slow and Full Flow have a foundation in Sun Salutations, Full Flow is often considered the “most athletic style” of yoga. At first, the class might feel more like a workout, but eventually, not only will the body have slowed and calmed itself, but so will the breath, heart, and mind.
This full practice of yoga is appropriate for students who have prior experience in yoga asana (movement and poses).

Description
March 9 and 10 (This will Register you for both days)
A Weekend on Women's Health from the Āyurvedic Perspective
with Mona L. Warner, Āyurvedic Doctor.
Over these two days, we will immerse ourselves in two main topics - Women's Health and the science of Āyurveda. Āyurveda has a very useful and respectful approach to women's health, one that Mona loves to share with anyone who wants to understand more.
Each day consists of two segments, morning and afternoon, with a 75-minute lunch break in between and a bio-break about halfway through. Come prepared for educational lectures, and sharing, and bring your questions!
Day 1:
AM: General Ayurveda Background (3.5 hrs)
In this session, we establish the groundwork to understand Āyurveda, so we can then look at Women's Health from this perspective.
We begin by introducing Āyurveda, then continue with the Āyurvedic perspective on the world (elements, qualities, and organizing energies), and finally Āyurveda's Three Pillars of Health.
PM: Women's Health and Hormones (3.5 hrs)
In this session, we talk about the Āyurvedic perspective on the body, hormones, and common systemic imbalances and how to balance them using diet and lifestyle practices.
Day 2:
AM: Menstruation - the waxing moon (3.5 hrs)
In this session, we talk about menstruation from the Āyurvedic perspective, including common imbalances and challenges, and how to bring more harmony to this monthly rhythm using diet and lifestyle practices.
PM: Menopause - the waning moon (3.5 hrs)
In this session, we talk about menopause from the Āyurvedic perspective, including common imbalances and challenges, and how to bring more harmony to this powerful life change using diet and lifestyle practices.
Your investment in this workshop is $400.
This workshop will be held in person and online.
