Hi there! I’m Mars, a yogi with a profound love for the practice of yoga and physical, mental, and emotional self-awareness. My journey with yoga began in 2010 when it found me, and ever since, it has been an integral part of my life, bringing balance, peace, and clarity to my days. For the past seven years, I've embraced the path of wellness while living on this enchanting island of Siargao. This island has not only been my home but a source of inspiration and a sanctuary for my soul. Through my passion for holistic wellness, I've cultivated a deep appreciation for mindful living and a commitment to nourishing both body and mind. In my classes, I aim to share the transformative power of yoga with you, creating a space where students can connect with their breath, explore their bodies, and find serenity amidst life's adventures. Description
In this practice, I introduce the foundational elements of Ashtanga yoga in a supportive and welcoming environment. Through gentle guidance and accessible modifications, you will learn the standing sequence and closing sequence of the Ashtanga tradition. Each movement is synchronized with the breath, fostering mindfulness and inner awareness. Whether you’re completely new to yoga or looking to refine your practice, this class offers a safe space for you to explore, learn, and cultivate a strong foundation in a beloved traditional practice.
