Description
We spend 40 minutes in a serene and introspective practice of yin yoga, which focuses on long-held, passive poses targeting connective tissues and joints. The emphasis is on surrendering into each posture, fostering flexibility, releasing tension, and promoting a meditative state of mind. We then rest in a 20 minute savasana (relaxation) accompanied by the calming and cleansing sound of Tibetan Singing Bowls. Each participant receives an individual sound bath focusing on energy points (feet, heart center, crown). This practice aims to restore balance and cultivate mindfulness and deep state of relaxation. Blocks, bolsters and eye masks are provided for deeply soothing and supported experience.
