Description
This class introduces the basic breath work as instructed in Light on Pranayama by BKS Iyengar. Pranayama is the cultivation of energy using the breath. We work with breath awareness, and prop arrangements that facilitate breath awareness. Props required - mat, 4 blankets, bolster, chair.

Not for beginners. A regular practice of yoga postures, shoulderstand and headstand is required.
