Elisha Collier
Elisha is a Yoga Therapist and the founder of Grow Yoga. She specialises in supporting women with stress, anxiety and overwhelm through therapeutic group spaces and one-to-one work.
Her approach weaves together Yoga Therapy, rest, cyclical wisdom and nature-based practices, creating spaces that centre rest, nervous system support and community.
Elisha’s work is deeply influenced by her training, her own lived experience, and her passion for creating familiar, relational spaces where women feel safe enough to soften and explore their inner worlds.
Description
This is a women's only class, and will be hosted once per month close to the full moon. This will be a longer practice (90 minutes), including movement, meditation, and deep rest. Our body is part of nature and planet Earth, with cycles and seasons (whether we currently menstruate or not), and this class is designed to acknowledge and honour this.
The movement practice will be centred around candra namaskara, or moon phase salute, as detailed in Uma Dinsmore Tuli's 'Yoni Shakti' textbook. We will then use restorative yoga & meditation to facilitate a sense of deep rest.
