Description
Grounded Body is a six-month closed group journey for women, designed to support those experiencing anxiety, stress and overwhelm through the lens of Yoga Therapy.
Together, we’ll explore simple, practical and body-based approaches that support regulation of the nervous system, helping you cultivate greater steadiness, resilience and ease in everyday life.
Rather than focusing solely on changing our thoughts, we’ll learn to work with the body as a pathway towards feeling more settled. Through gentle movement, breathwork, relaxation, mindfulness and other therapeutic practices, you’ll begin to understand how your nervous system responds to stress and discover practical tools you can return to long after the programme has finished.
Grounding will provide the foundation of our work together, but we’ll also explore a range of themes that support wellbeing.
This may include learning how to gently build your capacity to move between activation and rest, developing self-awareness, cultivating self-compassion, and experiencing the healing value of connection and community.
Between our monthly sessions, you’ll receive ongoing support through recorded meditations, guided relaxations and a dedicated WhatsApp group, where I’ll share additional resources such as articles, reflections and journalling prompts to help deepen and integrate your practice.
This journey isn’t about striving to feel calm all of the time. It’s about learning to meet yourself with greater understanding, building a relationship with your body, and developing practical tools to help you navigate life’s inevitable ups and downs with a little more steadiness.
If you’ve been searching for a gentle, body-based approach to anxiety or stress, alongside a small community of like-minded women, Grounded Body offers a supportive space to slow down, reconnect with yourself and build practices that can genuinely support you in everyday life.
No previous experience of yoga or meditation is needed. Truly.
We will meet on the second Monday of each month for six months. As this is a closed group, each session builds on the last, allowing trust, familiarity and confidence to develop within the group over time.
We understand that life happens and you may occasionally miss a session. If this happens, you’ll receive a summary of the session, along with any home practices and resources, so you can continue your journey. Monthly payment secures your place within the group and remains payable whether or not you are able to attend a particular session.
