Elisha Collier
Elisha is a Yoga Therapist and the founder of Grow Yoga. She specialises in supporting women with stress, anxiety and overwhelm through therapeutic group spaces and one-to-one work.
Her approach weaves together Yoga Therapy, rest, cyclical wisdom and nature-based practices, creating spaces that centre rest, nervous system support and community.
Elisha’s work is deeply influenced by her training, her own lived experience, and her passion for creating familiar, relational spaces where women feel safe enough to soften and explore their inner worlds.
Description
The goal is to create a small community group of women who are committed to practicing yoga, meditation & ritual regularly.
Each four week period will hold a different theme, at the moment we are working through the chakras, we will build skills related to the theme each week and at least one session will be based around ritual (usually the introductory session).
Some past, present & future themes.
1. Grounding / safety
2. Creativity.
3. Sense of self
4. Compassion
5. Communication
6. Intuition
The purpose of the closed group is to build trust, friendship & allow the groups interests to be explored. As community & practice builds we can delve deeper than in a general class.
You will pay upfront for a four week period (£54), however if you can’t attend a class I won’t be able to refund. This is because the circle is closed, so I cannot resell your space to a member of the public as normal.
This circle is currently full, spaces will open if / when people drop out or if a brand new circle opens.
If you would like to be added to the waiting list for the opening of the next closed circle, please email elisha@grow-yoga.co.uk

A tonic for the modern pace of life. This type of Yoga is still, comfortable and slow. With the use of props, we move into long-holds of postures and allow the body to rest.

Description
Over a four week period, our purpose is to slow down and open the body, mind and emotions through yin yoga practices and sound healing in a nurturing environment.
Week 1:
Earth element: one hour sound bath to ground & restore
Week 2:
Water element: yin practice and soothing sound bath savasana
Week 3:
Fire element: one hour sound bath to release
Week 4:
Air element: yin practice & restful sound bath savasana
About yin yoga
Yin yoga focuses on holding postures, sometimes up to five minutes, allowing the body to open over time rather than through effort.
Yin postures work with deep connective tissue, and your awareness will be guided around your body to support mind-body connection. Enhancing mind-body connection can help introspection, regulation & mindfulness which in turn can help us to feel more balanced.
What happens in a yin & sound class?
We’ll begin with a few minutes of meditation to practice skills for focus, then move into a gentle yin yoga practice with a sound bath savasana. Instruments used include crystal singing bowls, chimes, voice and drums.
What happens in a sound bath?
Sound baths create a space for you to rest, receive and promote your own healing through sound vibrations with different instruments which work on many different levels. Your only job is to lie down, listen, breathe and relax.
This is an all levels class experience and different modifications are offered for you to find your own variation in a pose. Yin is a wonderful antidote to a busy lifestyle or to add balance to your practice if you tend to do a lot of dynamic classes where muscles are engaged.
Please note: This course isn't suitable for those with epilepsy, pace-makers/metal plates, severe mental health problems or those in their first trimester of pregnancy

Description
Yin Yoga is a stilling practice involving deep stretch & long holds, if 'Yang' is movement, then 'Yin' is stillness. This class is a seasonal treat, perfect for all those wanting to honour the timing of the seasons, and experience a sense of 'wintering'.
Our theme for February is meditation, and in this class we will hold stretches for 3-5 minutes, using the stretch sensation as a focus point to prepare us for the closing meditation.
This class is absolutely fine for beginners & is designed to be an accessible introduction to a stillness / meditation practice.

Grow Yoga, 3 The Artisans Yard, Dyson Place
