Shannon’s yoga journey began with a single class in Toronto—where she instantly felt a deep connection to the practice and was hooked! That first class sparked a passion that led her to dive deep into training, earning certifications in Yin, Restorative, Meditation, Prenatal, and Vinyasa yoga. She loves blending intuitively guided movement with mindset, weaving meaningful messages into each class.
Her teaching focuses on helping students connect with their heart centre while guiding them safely through practice. For Shannon, yoga isn’t just about poses—it’s about self-discovery, growth, and finding your path (sometimes upside down!). She’s deeply grateful to share this practice with our community, creating a space for connection, balance, growth and joy.
Description
This class blends the strength and balance of Vinyasa Yoga with the deep release of Yin. The first half of class focuses on breath-guided fluid postures, building stability, mobility, and awareness. The second half transitions into grounding Yin poses, held for longer periods to encourage deep relaxation and stillness.
At the start of class, you’re invited to draw an oracle card for personal reflection. Throughout the practice, mindful messaging is woven in to support introspection and presence. Props such as bolsters, blankets, and blocks are provided to enhance comfort and ease.
Designed to cultivate both energy and surrender, this class is suitable for all levels, with options to modify or deepen your experience.
